[00:00:06] Speaker A: Hey, everyone. This is Michael Ronstadt from the Nathan's and Roncast. This week we're doing a second week in a row of one of the mini episodes. And this week we're featuring Lisa Beth Weber, who is an amazing artist, musician. She basically does everything. She's a writer, she does visual art, basically the creme de la creme of the creative person. And she also supports her fellow musicians and artists. And I really love that about her. I've known her since at least 2008, 2009. I can't even remember how we met, but that's okay. And I could call up and ask, how did we meet Lisabeth? But I just see her as one of my longtime friends. I've known her since at least 2008, when I first moved to the Philadelphia region. And I met her through the Philadelphia folk song community. And that whole community is so tight knit and truly, truly, truly talented. Sometimes I don't think Lisa Beth Weber talks about her creative output and her music as much as I wish she would. So that's why this week, Erin Nathans and I wanted to feature one of the tracks from her amazing album, the Fire Tower sessions, with her and Maggie Marshall. Unfortunately, we lost Maggie Marshall a number of years ago, but this music lives on. And that duo had a spark, a know, no pun intended. But that fire really can be heard on the recording. So the song that she is having us feature is called where the sky meets the ground. And I love the lyrics. I always like how she cadences, her phrasing, her chords and her words. And so I hope you enjoy it, too. Without any further delay, let's play where the sky meets the ground. [00:02:04] Speaker B: Me just before I had to go it was dimension of rainbow and it pretty real slow now when I'm thinking of you when a medie stays away I hear your voice inside me everything will be okay I see the color. [00:02:23] Speaker C: All around and if you listen very close you'll hear the sound there's a. [00:02:31] Speaker B: Little piece heaven right here where the. [00:02:34] Speaker C: Sky meets the ground. [00:02:43] Speaker B: And the water falls around me like an endless piece of rain never stops moving, never say the same and in the middle of the mountain in the middle of the day with you here beside me it will be okay I see the color. [00:03:04] Speaker C: All around and if you listen very close you'll hear the sound there's a. [00:03:11] Speaker B: Little piece of heaven right here where. [00:03:14] Speaker C: The sky meets the ground close it. [00:03:34] Speaker B: When the sun comes out to play it's like a blanket on my back to keep me warm and I hope that we can stay any place that keeps us safe from the storm. [00:03:51] Speaker C: We can see the color all around. [00:03:56] Speaker B: If you listen very close, you'll hear the sound. There's little pieces heaven right here where. [00:04:04] Speaker C: The sky meets the ground close. [00:04:27] Speaker A: I love that song. Thank you, Lisa Beth Weber, for sharing your music with us and allowing us to share your music with our listeners. We are the Nathans and Roncast. We like to feature other musicians in their songs as well as our own songs on the album hello world. And if you want to find out more information about us, go to nathansandronstadt.com.
