We're going to begin again with the Ronstadt cousins this week from the same album Live in Canelo. And this is a cover of My Walking Stick, written by Irving Berlin, I believe was performed in 1998 in Canelo, Arizona. Enjoy.

[00:04:23] Speaker B: I remember being in eighth grade in the audience listening to that concert, and that is one of my favorite songs. It starts out the album live in Canelo, and if you can find a copy on cd, go get it. Now. The next song is called La Barca de Oro, and it features my dad, Michael J. Ronstadt, on lead vocals. This is a traditional Mexican song that we would hear in our family at gatherings. And so I hope you enjoy this 2016 recording from Ronstadt Generations.
[00:05:59] Speaker A: Los Maras SA.
[00:07:21] Speaker B: That was La Barca de Oro, performed by Michael J. Ronstadt on lead vocals and the band Ronstadt generations. From their 2016 release Land of the Setting sun, we're going to change genres and feature the amazing John Ronstadt, who is my dad's first cousin in the Ronstadt Cousins, but he had a project called Round Midnight featuring John Ronstadt. It also included Doug Martin on piano, Gilbert Rodriguez on drums, Jed Paradis on flute, Judd Paradis on tenor saxophone, John Ronstadt on vocals, and Rene Camacho on acoustic bass. This is the tune Maiden Voyage, which is the title track from Round Midnight's album Maiden Voyage from 1994. Enjoy.
